Authentic instead of staged, your wedding photographer for Munich and all of Bavaria.
Many couples today want a wedding day that simply feels right. Not louder, not bigger – but honest and completely themselves. Without roles, without requirements, without the feeling of having to fulfill something. From this freedom, images emerge that are more than just memories.
I accompany weddings as they happen. My focus is not on program points, but on the in-between – on glances, movements, brief gestures, and small pauses. On everything that is often overlooked but defines the character of a day.
Good wedding photography is not pure observation. It is the intuition for when to wait – and when you need to be present right now. I move between these two poles: in the background when the moment speaks for itself, and close by when it wants to be captured. It is precisely this decision, made anew from situation to situation, that makes the difference between a beautiful photo and one that truly tells a story.
No one has to repeat anything or adapt. You are there, with your people, at your own pace. I capture what arises – and leave situations as they are. This results in a coherent narrative instead of individual perfect images.
Many couples today choose very different forms for their ceremony – and each has its own language.
Civil weddings are often concentrated and very intimate, sometimes surprisingly emotional. Church ceremonies bring peace, structure, and a special atmosphere. Secular ceremonies create space for personal words, unique rituals, and a very individual sequence.
Each form tells its story in its own way. My task is to read this story – and to show it.
The surroundings shape the day without pushing themselves into the foreground. I find weddings around Lake Starnberg, Lake Ammer, or Lake Tegernsee, in Bayrischzell or Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Other celebrations take place in Hohenkammer, Dachau, Fürstenfeldbruck, Rosenheim, Grünwald, or in the heart of Munich.
Every location brings its own mood – and becomes a natural part of the reportage.
A wedding reportage does not consist of highlights alone. It lives from transitions, from quiet moments, from arriving and from letting go. From the beginning of the day to the late hours of the celebration.
The gallery on this page shows exactly that: not a selection of individual scenes, but a continuous look at real events. Movement instead of posing, intimacy instead of perfection.
The camera as a silent companion
It is important to me that you do not feel observed on your wedding day. The camera should not be a foreign object, but part of the whole.
Many couples say afterwards that they only became aware of how much happened on that day when they looked at the pictures. This is exactly where the strength of documentary accompaniment lies: it shows not only what the day looked like – but how it felt.
Presence and restraint are not opposites – they belong together. The right intuition for when each is required comes from experience. And from a genuine interest in the people one accompanies.
If you are looking for photographic accompaniment for your 2026 wedding that operates inconspicuously in the background and yet does not miss any important moment, then get in touch with me. It is important to me that you can enjoy your day without feeling like you are at a staged shoot.
Tell me about your plans – whether at the registry office in Munich, in a loft location, or at a large celebration in the surrounding area. Tell me which moments are particularly close to your heart. Together we will discuss the schedule so that your wedding photos become just as authentic and real as you experience the day. I look forward to meeting you!
