From athlete portraits and sports reportages to professional sports videos: as a sports photographer in Munich, I accompany athletes, clubs and sports brands—on the field, in the studio and at international events.

Triathlon – Portraits, Team Photos & Videos

I had the pleasure of supporting the Tri Team FFB from Fürstenfeldbruck on several projects. During the triathlon portrait shoot at Pucher Meer, expressive athlete portraits were created—with targeted lighting that optimally highlights the athletes’ distinctive physiques. At the same time, the athletes presented the new outfits from Bioracer.

For professional triathlete Christian Jais, we produced a comprehensive video production: swimming, cycling and running—each discipline in combination with the current equipment. In parallel, we created photos for social media and sponsors.

In addition, I produced a 360-degree animation of the season outfits for the Tri Team FFB—an impressive video made from over 1,000 individual photos, shot on my turntable in the studio. It even included a headstand—thanks to the rotation, particularly strenuous for athlete René, but the result speaks for itself.

Sports Reportage: Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® UTMB and Amstel Gold Race

At the Trail Running World Championship—the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® UTMB in Chamonix—I was on site as a sports reporter. Scott from Team “Pearl Izumi” shortly after sunrise: this is the moment sports photography is made for. You can find more photos from the UTMB and other sporting events in the sports gallery.

I had the pleasure of supporting two projects for Pearl Izumi and Shimano. At the Amstel Gold Race, I produced a photo and video reportage—one of the best-known one-day races in cycling, documented directly for both brands.

I also attended the Pearl Izumi and Shimano sales meeting event in Kirchzarten. A photo reportage that not only captures the event itself, but also the people behind it—team, atmosphere and brand world. You can find more images from this and other events in the reportage gallery.

Winter Swimming – Sport and Adventure

With water temperatures between 0°C and 7°C, only experienced swimmers venture into the lake. With pools closed, more and more athletes are using this alternative. For some, it is a major challenge; for others, pure joy. Anyone who wants to swim one or two kilometres needs the right equipment—and please do not do it alone, and only if you are truly healthy.

Personal Trainer & Coach Portraits

Susanne Böhm from Burghausen is a personal trainer and head fitness trainer at Bodyinvestment—she travels throughout Europe for personal coaching. For FITNESS FIRST, I photographed trainer Nina—authentic, likeable and perfectly aligned with the studio guidelines: white background, correct framing, coherent posture.

Sports Brands & Events – Arena Corner at Sport Scheck

The new Arena Corner at Sport Scheck Munich was a fascinating opportunity to showcase modern swimwear and innovative products in the best light. My photos document this special presentation area and underline Arena’s brand identity—the connection between functionality and design, visible to everyone who could not visit the stand in person.
