As a photographer, I had the pleasure of accompanying Münchner Wohnen – formerly GWG München – on several exciting projects. From construction projects and community events to forward-looking sustainability initiatives.
E-mobility and Charging Infrastructure – Elaway & Münchner Wohnen
One of the most interesting projects was the photographic documentation of a new charging infrastructure for e-mobility in Münchner Wohnen residential buildings and garages. The company Elaway installs modern wallboxes – and Münchner Wohnen is thus setting a clear signal for sustainable mobility in the city. Managing Director Christian Müller was on-site and brought his vision for a sustainable future directly into the frame. The PR photos are used in media and press releases to communicate the significance of this pilot project.
Topping-out Ceremony in Freiham – 900 New Apartments
In the west of Munich, Münchner Wohnen celebrated the topping-out ceremony in the new district of Freiham. 900 apartments are being built here – carpenters, architects, and construction companies celebrated the milestone together. Mayor Christine Strobl praised the project as an important step in ensuring Munich remains a city for everyone.
Senior Citizens’ and Service Center Westend
During the open house at the Caritas Senior Citizens’ and Service Center Westend, I photographed the event and also utilized a drone – capturing the entire building from a perspective that no standard camera can reach.
Tenant Activities – Fire Show and Dance
With a sophisticated hygiene concept, Münchner Wohnen organized special activities for its tenants: fire shows, dance performances, and live music – watched from balconies and apartments. During the “window dance,” people could even participate directly from their balconies. Capturing moments like these is exactly what I love to do.
