Professional Documentary Photography Munich – Authentic Documentation of Your Projects

Good documentary photos tell a story before anyone has read a word. Whether at corporate events, cultural functions, or social projects in Munich and throughout Bavaria – my goal is to document real situations as they unfold. Without staging, without re-enactment, without artificial moments. The result is images that have an immediate impact and tell an honest story.

Between Discretion and Presence

Documentary photography thrives on a delicate balance. I work discreetly to avoid disturbing the natural dynamic of an event – while simultaneously being exactly where the decisive moment occurs at the right time. This decision, when to wait and when to get close, is not made according to a plan. It arises from experience, attentiveness, and genuine interest in what is happening.

The result is not isolated individual images, but a coherent visual narrative. Images that show what an event was like – and how it felt.

What I Document

Documentary photography accompanies a wide variety of occasions. Corporate events, company parties, and internal functions require images that convey atmosphere while appearing professional. Trade fairs and conferences demand quick reactions, technical skill, and an instinct for which situation is currently the most important. Cultural events, exhibition openings, and social projects thrive on their atmosphere – and precisely that cannot be recreated.

References and Experience

Over the years, I have had the privilege of accompanying very diverse projects – from large international conferences to personal, small events of great significance.

For Intel, I photographed at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) in Frankfurt, one of the most important specialist conferences in the field of High Performance Computing. At the exhibition grounds, I documented product presentations, keynotes, and expert discussions – including the ceremonial unveiling of the Intel Xeon Phi Knights Landing.

For Samsung, I accompanied several events in Munich, including a roadshow and an appearance with Mario Götze and presenter Wolff-Christoph Fuss. Fast delivery, high quality, and a smooth process – exactly what matters to brand clients.

Hewlett Packard was another client at the ISC. The collaboration was managed through an agency and required precise briefing, efficient execution, and clean image delivery within a short timeframe.

For Rödl, I created business photos – professional, clear, and fitting the corporate identity of an international company.

Furthermore, I have photographically documented, among other things, the awarding of the Federal Cross of Merit to Prof. Dr. Heinz Billing, the Intel Artificial Intelligence Day Munich, and events for the Center for Digitalization Bavaria.

In documentary photography, the focus is on authentic documentation – I capture what happens without intervention. Classic event photography often includes posed group photos or arranged moments. I combine both: authenticity plus the important mandatory shots.

That depends on the duration and scope of the event. For a 1-hour event, I generally deliver between 100 and 300 carefully edited photos.

Usually within 1-2 business days. Upon request, I can deliver an initial batch within a few hours/minutes for quick social media use.

Yes, for many events, I also create short video clips or timelapses. We can best discuss this in advance during the briefing.
